René PIERRET began with a blacksmith’s forge in 1925, at Corbion, in the hills above the Ardennes Semois, a river in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium. He then began to manufacture cutting and packing machines for the well-known Semois tobacco industry.

In 1952, the 5 sons of Mr. PIERRET designed and built a cutting machine for textile fibers, based on the tobacco-cutting technique.

Today, the technological feeling is cultivated by a third family generation which specializes in the manufacture of cutting machines for textile and plastic materials.

The range of PIERRET machines enables the specific requirements of users all over the world to be met, by the provision of a series of complementary accessories suitable for every need.

Another department of the firm produces combined roller-stretcher for the bread dough.

PIERRET has a reputation for producing original and efficient machines, and for the creative way in which they solve their customers’ problems.
