Company History

1925
- 1st generation.
- Establishment of a blacksmith’s forge with an area of 52 m² by René Pierret in Corbion.
1934

Manufacture of cutting and packing machines for the tobacco industry.
1961

The area of the workshop is increased to 620 m².
1968

The area of the workshop is increased to 620 m².
1973
- First sale in the U.S. This is the starting point of the company’s biggest market.
- The area of the workshop is doubled and increased to 4050 m².
1981

The company sells worldwide thanks to local agents.
1987

Establishment of Pierret North American Division (USA).
1999

3rd generation. The company is taken over by two cousins, Philippe and Thierry Pierret.
2002
- A fire destroys half the area of the workshop.
- Opening of a test facility and a spare part inventory in Japan.
2004

The area of the workshop is increased to 8100 m².
2013

Opening of a test facility in India.
